Last June, IronCalc had the chance to take part in HackDays in Paris, a hackathon focused on building open source office tools to support digital sovereignty in Europe. The event was organized by DINUM, the French government's digital strategy agency.

We teamed up with a small group to work on an early integration of La Suite Calc, a spreadsheet app powered by the IronCalc engine. After a few intense days of coding, we got a working prototype—an exciting first step for La Suite Calc.

The event brought together several promising EU-funded teams and featured a wide mix of projects. Out of all the submissions, our work made it to the grand final, landing in the top 10.
